Desperately needing to know how to get my baby to sleep... we were in such a great routine, but alas as all good things do, that came to an abrupt end! Now, I am sitting here listening to him cry in his crib. Nursing hasn't worked tonight. Walking the floor hasn't worked. Singing, praying, talking softly, letting him climb all over me... nothing has lulled him to sleep. Diaper is dry, tummy is full. No unusual marks or temperature. His eyes are so droopy and if he'd just hold still I think he'd sink instantaneously into sweet dreams. But, 8 months must be hard to cope with. You'd never know this is my third!
sit him on the floor by himself... it seemed to work the other night with dad and bryce!
ReplyDeletemaybe he just needs some "me" time... also being the third child i can understand that!!
then again.. i don't have kids so if it doesn't work don't be surprised!
